I want to write a post about you, but I can’t find the right words. I just don’t know what to say. All I know is that I get butterflies whenever you talk to me.

But in a good way.
Apparently, everyone spends half their life waiting. Waiting for the bus, waiting for class to end - waiting for something, or what could be something or just blankly waiting. Or even worse, waiting for the impossible. But at the end of the day, it’s whether or not that something is worth waiting for.

I like how always seem to find you, accidentally, and how our eyes just meet. I like how you slow down your pace to glance over at me even while you keep walking. I like how you come up to me and ask me if everything’s okay. I like how you smile when you see me. I like how you hold the door for me. I like a lot of things about you.
It’s the small things you do that make me happy.
Really, it does. When you smile, it just seems to light up the whole place - then next thing you know, there I am smiling away like an idiot again. I just can’t help it.
As I begin to approach the individual ahead, my knees shake, throat suicides. Butterflies in my stomach, I begin to drag my feet to reach my destination. Thoughts run through my head with wonderful imaginations, I stop. Looking up and carefully wetting my lips with my tongue, my eyes suddenly start to travel up the figure beginning at the feet. The character starts to speak, however I am unable to hear; for my head is full of clamor, like the turning of gears. Again the being spoke, this time I am able to comprehend. A hello they whispered and a warm smile came. As their voice filled my ears, it echoed like a song on replay. My eyes sparkled, my heart rate starts to peak. I whispered hello back and softly smiled.

That person that you look at, and they don’t even have to look at you, or say anything to you, but just by seeing their face, you smile. You smile bigger than you ever thought you could.
